In this episode of The Better Dental Life Podcast, Dave Stinchfield, Owner of Discovery Dental, an exception dental practice in the heart of Washougal, WA, joins Mark for a chat about his immovable love for running and racing (and its parallels with dentistry); why new technologies are merely tools, nothing more; and how to overcome failure not just in dentistry, but in all aspects of life.
Prior to being the Owner of Discovery Dental, he was a Lieutenant in the US Navy whilst stationed in Sasebo, Japan. He is also a sponsor of the Washougal Schools Foundation Stride for Education, where he and his brother visit local elementary schools to teach children how to properly look after their teeth! Dave sees himself not just as a dental services provider, but also as someone who wants to assist his patients in achieving their dental goals.
He’s also an avid runner, competing in 30, 50, 100, and 200-mile races!
